Podcasts are essentially homemade radio programs that people make and then distribute over the Internet.You can download and listen to them on your PC, iPod or a similar portable audio player. So the term podcasting combines "iPod" (it was the first portable music device afterall) and "-casting," as in broadcasting.

I think the well known BBC reporter Peter Day said it best when he commented in a recent broadcast "..something remarkable is happening here, radio is springing free of the regulated gatekeepers who've managed what you can hear since radio was invented. It's jumping into the hands of anyone at all with something or nothing to say".

I want this site to not only provide hours of great information but in conjunction with my blog act as a resource for new and upcoming technology. I will update this site weekly with new podcasts but my blog will be THE place to go for new information everyday. If you find yourself overcome by the sheer amount of knowledge, I’d suggest taking a break every 15 or 20 minutes. Enjoy!
